Jody Bernal - Joe, student drama
23-year old Jody Bernal made a crushing impression
with his debut single Que si, Que No in 2000,
it was no. 1 in the charts for no less than 15 weeks
. More than one million albums were sold. Jody is
the Latin singer of the Netherlands. At present he
is one of the favorites in the TV-show Holiday On
Ice.
Carolina Dijkhuizen, Carmen, music student
Carolina has played many splendid roles. The past
two years she had the leading part in the dutch
production of The Lion King as Nala. Befor that she
was Aida in the musical Aida. At present Carolina
plays the role of Bagheera/mother Messua in theatre
production jungle book. Beside her musical work,
Carolina sing demo's, acts in commercials and played
a role in the TV-series Bon Bini Beach.
Yvo Chundro - Tyrone, ballet student
Yvo Chundro played in the musicals Aida and Boyband.
In the musical Alladin, with amongst others, Hakim,
he interpreted the title role. He played Tyrone in
the German version of Fame and danced in shows with
Ruth Jacott and Enrique Iglesias. This season Yvo
plays together with Ara Halici the main part
in the musical HONK, a version of the tale `The ugly
Duckling'.
Heddy Lester - Mrs. Bell, ballet teacher
Singer and actress Heddy Lester started her career
with the duo April Shower. With the 'Mallemolen' she
represents the Netherlands at Euro Vision song
festival in 1977. For its first solo program she
receives the Pall Mall Award. From 1987 on, Lester
acts mainly in the theatre with parts in musicals
like Anatevka, That's Life, Alleen Op De Wereld,
Sinatra en Life Is A Cabaret. This season she plays
she performs in the play De Stille Kracht by Louis
Couperus.
Donna Lynton - Mrs. Sherman, English teacher.
Donna Lynton was born in the US. She has worked with
celebrities such as The Temptations, The Drifters,
James Brown and The Supremes. Also she part of the
immense popular formation The Ronettes. Donna had an
unprecedented number of hits. She interpreted the
title song for Charlie's Angels. It became a huge
success. This was followed by hits like: Let
The Curtains Fall and Send In The Clowns. Love
brought Donna to The Netherlands.
Eric Beekes - Mr. Scheinkopf, docent music
Eric Beekes has many TV appearances and acted in
many theatre productions, such Potasch en Perlemoer
and Dubbelleven. The previous season he got very
positive press thanks to his creation of aunt Cato
in the musical Pietje Bell. Next to that, he
produces and acts in many youth theatre
productions, such as Mijn Tante zit op Wolk Negen
(My aunt is sits on cloud nine). For its activities
in the youth theatre he has been awarded with the
Universal Peace Federation for Children Award.
Hans van de Togt - Mr. Myers, drama teacher
As face of the AVRO and announcer of the
unforgettable Rad van Fortuin, Hans van de
Togt is a surprising acquisition for the cast. Hans
acted in films such as Mamma is Boos and Te Gek Om
Los Te Lopen. Hans granted its collaboration
to a show of Ton Vorstenbosch. This show ran four
times in the Kleine Komedie. Next to that he acted
in the sitcom TV7 by Mug Met De Gouden Tand.
